Dolphins, it's almost time for Hour of Code!

Students are celebrating Black History month with classroom activities, lessons and daily news facts dedicated to famous black historical figures.

The Fort Belvoir primary cafeteria has a new feature, a salad bar. Students and staff can now enjoy fresh produce, meats, and dairy items in place of a regular cafeteria lunch. Students and staff have been enjoying the daily change of salads and items in the salad bar. Many of the fruit, vegetables and dairy items come from local farms as well.

Both Fort Belvoir primary and upper staff participated in a training by the Department of Homeland Security on how to perform life saving techniques.

Our Fort Belvoir Primary students have been working hard and are excited to release their own news. Student reporters will be providing great news about what is going on at school for students , by students.

It was another successful turnout at the STEAM Family event at Fort Belvoir ES this school year. We had wonderful activities throughout he day including an amazing egg dropped from the top of a firetruck ladder.
