Students at the elementary level are assessed in many areas throughout the year. Parents will receive a notification letter about the testing their child will have as well as the results of each test.

• Grades K-6: Universal Screener for Math and Reading

• Grades K-6: Developmental Reading Assessment

• Grades 3-6: Standards of Learning (SOL) tests for Math and Reading

• Grade 4: Virginia Studies

• Grade 3 - 6: Virginia Growth Assessment (VGA) for Math and Reading

• Grade 1: Naglieri

• Grade 2: CogAT for second grade students

• ESOL students: World-class Instructional Design and Assessment (WIDA)
