Meet Our Family Liaison!
I am Dolores Elliott, your new Parent Liaison, and I’m very excited to serve the learning community and families in this awesome role. I taught PreK-3rd grade in Korea (DODEA), D.C., N.C., TX, and VA and moved 18 times during my spouse’s 28 year Army career. I have three children, who have experienced 13 moves and two deployments. I had the honor to serve in various Family Support Group positions and know the amazing sacrifices asked of our military families.
I am here for you and to support your needs as well. I look forward to meeting you!

What Does Our Family Liaison Do?
The Family Liaison provides resources, support and strategies to enhance both staff and parental understanding of the needs of military children. Additionally, they work to encourage parent involvement in their child's education.
The Family Liaison may assist with parent conferences and with issues relating to school adjustment. They represent a variety of cultures, languages, and races and is one component in our school's effort to enhance family involvement. Above all, they are the link between families and school and are willing to assist in whatever way necessary to insure student and family success at Ft. Belvoir.
