Celebrating 10 years and counting of STEAM and Project-Based Learning programming at Fort Belvoir Elementary School

Thank you, Colonel Michael Greenberg for joining us at our 10^th annual Family STEAM Day.  We celebrated our new 2019 Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) PBL Grant Award called EYE: Engineering Your Experience: Designing your Day.  Our community members, STEAM partners and PTO came to support us for this fun-filled event.  We did an egg-drop engineering design challenge, robotics, math challenges, science activities, coding, and 3D printing.

STEAM partners include: Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA ), Armed Forces Electronics and Communications Association (AFCEA) Fort Belvoir Chapter, Fairfax County Wastewater Management, Pen Federal Credit Union and Federation of Galaxy Explorers.
