Fort Belvoir is participating in a PBL to improve our schoolyard habitat by designing and planting sustainable gardens. Together with our partner school, Sigonella Elementary (DOD) in Sicily, Italy (Catania) we will work on accomplishing progress towards the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 15: Protect, restore and promote sustainable use of terrestrial ecosystems. We seek to protect biodiversity and our natural schoolyard habitat.
