On a recent sunny Sunday, more than 2,000 students and families from Fort Belvoir Elementary Primary and Upper Schools attended the final regular season game for the Washington Nationals by an invitation from the Fort Belvoir Garrison Commander Michael Greenberg.

Cox Business provided additional funding so school buses could bring attendees to the game at no charge.

"This was an amazing event for our families. So many of our students had never been to a baseball game and, for younger siblings, riding the school bus was such a thrill! We are so grateful for the opportunity for our students and their families to enjoy the game."
