On Monday, January 27, staff in both Fort Belvoir Primary and Upper buildings participated in a virtual and face-to-face training on life supporting trauma measures. Teachers learned about how to save lives by using medical tourniquets, packing wounds, contacting support services, applying chest seals and how to effectively carry victims in a support needed situation.

Staff members joined discussion groups and even participated in active or real life training situations. It was a great and beneficial experience for all staff at both elementary schools.
