A Message from Ms. Laxton, Fort Belvoir Upper Principal

Dolphin Families,

Congratulations on getting through the first full school week of the new year!  I hope that between holidays and snow cancellations, we are able to start settling into the 3rd Quarter.  Please look for report cards to come home next Thursday.  Should you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to your classroom teacher for clarification.  Our administrative team is also happy to support in any way.

Happy Groundhog Day- Looks like the prediction is an early spring!

A Message from Ms. Laxton, Fort Belvoir Upper Principal

Families,

We have come to the end of the second quarter!  Please continue to encourage your child to work hard this winter and spring, as we have a lot of school left.

I want to make sure everyone knows that Fairfax County will no longer have a crossing guard in the road at the Upper School in the morning or afternoon.  Fort Belvoir PD is aware and are unable to support with consistent coverage at this time.  If your child walks to school, please insist that he or she uses good judgement when crossing the road. I will continue to advocate for support from our partner organizations to bring back a full time crossing guard to support our school community.
